Transforming lives through the power of sport

At the heart of our work is Sport 4 Change (S4C)

A low-cost, high-impact approach that intentionally designs activities to achieve social impact objectives, not just sporting performance.

One Million Balls was set up in September 2016 by our Founder & CEO.

Our mission is to leverage the transformative power of sport to improve the lives of children and young people across communities.

Our Story

One Million Balls began with a simple but powerful vision: to provide every child with access to quality football coaching and facilities, regardless of their background or circumstances.

Since our founding in September 2016, we have grown from a single weekly session to a comprehensive programme serving hundreds of young people across multiple locations in Tanzania.

Our approach is rooted in the belief that sport is more than just a game—it's a powerful tool for personal development, community building, and social change.
